Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Gorkha Himalayan Trek, holding a signboard, will meet you outside and opposite the terminal hall. They’ll greet you and assist together with your transfer to the hotel, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure in Nepal.

After breakfast, the hike leader or guide will meet you at your hotel for a pre-trip meeting. This session will provide a summary of the Manaslu Circuit Trek and canopy important details. Please bring your travel insurance, passport, and three passport-sized photos. Use any remaining free time to relax or buy last-minute items needed for the trek.

After breakfast in Kathmandu, you may start up a journey to Machha Khola via public bus or Jeep, officially starting your Manaslu Circuit Trekking Itinerary. the primary leg of the trip to Arughat features smooth travel on a paved route, while the second leg from Arughat to Machha Khola involves a challenging, rocky road that will keep you on your toes. Despite the bumpy ride, the journey offers spectacular views of Nepal's diverse landscapes

As you continue along the Budhi Gandaki River on the Manaslu Circuit Trek, the trail takes you through Khorlabesi then ascends and descends to Tatopani, known for its rejuvenating hot springs. The trail offers stunning views at Doban, Thulo Dunga, and Yaru Bagar because it winds across the river and over multiple suspension bridges. Eventually, you'll reach the doorway gate of the Manaslu Conservation Area in Jagat, where you may register your permits at a police checkpoint. The climb to Jagat involves a plain increase in altitude, changing both your surroundings and therefore the vegetation. From there, you'll follow the river, crossing it several times, navigating through forests and past gompas, until reaching Namrung.

From Namrung, your trek through the Manaslu Circuit becomes tougher as you navigate a forested path resulting in Lihi, graced with splendid vistas of Saula Himal, Pangkar Himal, Kutang Himal, and Pangbuche Himal. In Lihi, you'll pass beautiful chortens and barley fields with views of Manaslu Himal. As the trail progresses, the vegetation changes and Buddhist cultural elements become more prominent. After passing through Sho Village, you'll reach Lho Village, where you'll observe the stunning Punggen Glacier, marking another highlight of your trekking experience.

From Lho to Samagaon, a brief climb leads via Shyala village with breathtaking sceneries, gompas, and Tibetan communities. Samagaon offers a close-up view of Mt. Manaslu. Witness village life, with ladies spinning wool or buying Chinese whiskey. Enjoy free time post-lunch; stroll to Birendra Lake or Pungyen Gompa. Both offer serene settings amid tall mountains, perfect for relaxation and contemplation.

During your acclimatization day at Samagaon, situated at an altitude of 3520 meters on the Manaslu Trek, take the chance to rest and adapt to the high altitude. The trail offers stunning views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal. Initially, after passing through Dobhan and crossing Purdi Khola, you descend to Hampuk village.

Continuing from Hampuk, the route heads to Gho Village, passing through Yak Kharka and Kharche, alongside the gorgeous streams of Soti Khola and Kasongto Khola. From Gho Village, follow Dudh Khola towards Dharapani, crossing through Tilije and Thonje villages. The trek culminates with a crossing of the Marsyangdi River via a span, marking a fitting end to the present memorable journey through the Manaslu Circuit.

Finally, after departing from Dharapani, you'll board a shared jeep to Besi Sahar, carrying lifelong memories and pictures of a number of the world's most beautiful mountains. Day 15 :
Departure
