Itinerary

Upon landing, a Gorkha Himalayan Team (GHT) representative will greet you at the gate. You'll then be escorted to your hotel, where you'll receive a close briefing about your trip and itinerary. All arrangements are made promptly to confirm a smooth start to your adventure.

Embark on a tour of Kathmandu Valley's World Heritage Sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Explore rich cultural and architectural wonders before returning to the hotel for an overnight stick with breakfast included. Enjoy a satisfying day of discovery amidst Nepal's cultural treasures.

Your day kicks off with an exhilarating flight to Lukla within the morning, departing from either Kathmandu Domestic Airport or Manthali Airport, Ramechhap, betting on the season. Upon arrival, you'll trek to Phakding, where you'll spend the night, able to begin your trekking adventure within the stunning Himalayan landscape.

Today's hike is challenging but rewarding, starting with breakfast before you hit the trail. You'll labor under Sherpa villages like Benkar and Chumo, making your thanks to Monjo, the gateway to Sagarmatha parkland. The trail ascends steeply to Jorsalle village, offering you an opportunity to catch your breath and steel oneself against the exhilarating views ahead.
As you climb towards Namche Bazaar, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, Everest, and Nuptse. The day’s strenuous hike concludes along with your arrival at Namche Bazaar, a bustling hub for trekkers where you'll spend the night at a guest house, surrounded by the stunning Himalayan landscape

Today is devoted to acclimatization. We'll hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m), offering stunning views of Namche Bazaar. Continuing to Everest View Hotel, enjoy panoramic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and more. The hotel, within the Guinness Book of World Records because the highest, provides unparalleled views of Everest. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery before returning. Overnight at Namche Bazaar guesthouse.

After your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, the trail becomes a small amount smoother as you journey through dense rhododendron forests and past quaint Sherpa villages. The hike to Tengboche is especially scenic, and renowned for its spectacular mountain views, making it a highlight of the Everest Base Camp trek.
As you follow the trail above the Dudh Koshi River, you'll attain Phungi Thanga village. From there, you'll cross over the Imja Khola, a tributary of the Dudh Koshi, and face a more difficult uphill climb to Tengboche.
Tengboche itself is nestled under a crescent-shaped ridge and is home to the most important Buddhist monastery within the Khumbu region, the Tengboche Monastery. This area not only offers spiritual solace but also stunning vistas that function a backdrop to the current serene and culturally rich village.

Starting early from Tengboche, today's hike takes you thru more picturesque villages of the Khumbu region, including Pangboche, Somare, and Orsho, each offering unique insights into local Sherpa culture and stunning views of the encircling peaks.
Your destination for the day is Dingboche, the very best permanent Sherpa settlement within the region. Staying hydrated and well-rested in Dingboche is crucial, as you will be acclimatizing to the altitude and preparing for the subsequent phase of your trek, which involves ascending to even higher elevations. This village is a critical stop for trekkers to adapt and gather strength for the challenges ahead.

Embark on a trek to Chhukung, situated at an altitude of 4700 meters (15416 feet). The journey takes approximately 2 hours, offering stunning views of the encircling Himalayan landscapes. Chhukung is a resting point and acclimatization stop before further exploration of the Everest region.

Ascend to Chhukung Ri, towering at an elevation of 5542 meters (18172 feet). This challenging hike offers breathtaking panoramic views of the encompassing Himalayan peaks, including Everest. it is a strenuous yet rewarding journey, allowing trekkers to acclimatize and soak within the stunning fantastic thing about the Khumbu region.

Your trek ranging from Chhukung at dawn could be a high-altitude adventure where you conquer the best pass of your journey, the Kongma La. you will be equipped with water, snacks, and a packed lunch, traversing through the pristine wilderness with no tea shops on the way. you'll be able to choose from two trails: one climbing over Capitol Hill northwest of Chhukung across the Nuptse Glacier's moraine, or another lower route through the valley towards Bibre and above Niyang Khola.
The path offers splendid views of the Island Peak valley and therefore the jagged Amphu Lapcha ridge. Yet, the rewarding journey unveils stunning vistas of the Khumbu Glacier and icefall.

Begin your day with an early hike to Kalapattar (5,545m/18,188ft), boasting unmatched views of Mt. Everest and therefore the Himalayas. Afterward, return to Gorekshep for breakfast before descending to Dzongla. Traverse stunning landscapes and immerse yourself in cultural richness as you continue your trek, cherishing every moment of this extraordinary adventure.

Embark on the trek to Gokyo Lake, crossing the expansive Ngozumpa Glacier, the Himalayas' largest at over 36 kilometers long. Arriving at Gokyo village beside the third lake, marvel at the majestic Cho-Oyu Mountain's backdrop, offering a wide ranging panorama. After lunch, explore the serene great thing about Lake Dudh Pokhari, enriching this remarkable adventure with another layer of wonder.

Embark on an early morning hike to Gokyo Ri, a challenging climb taking 3 to 4 hours. At the summit, enjoy unparalleled views of Gokyo Valley, Gokyo Lake, and also the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Everest. Descend to Gokyo, then trek to Dole after breakfast, continuing your journey through the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Himalayas.

Crossing the Renjo La Pass is an exciting and challenging a part of your trek, leading you into the remote northern valley that resembles the Tibetan valleys beyond the border. This area has restricted access, enhancing its secluded charm. you may encounter Tibetan traders and their yak caravans descending from the Nangpa La pass, bringing goods from Tibet. Your day ends with an overnight occupy a guesthouse, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, completing on a daily basis full of unique cultural encounters and breathtaking landscapes.

After breakfast, your trek descends towards Thame, offering views of stunning snow-capped peaks along the way. you will encounter Tibetan trader encampments, providing a glimpse into a rare and traditional lifestyle, perfect for photography enthusiasts. Approximately 150 meters above Thame, you will find the Thame Monastery, picturesquely nestled among the homes of monks and laypeople. Perched on a hillside, it overlooks the valley and hosts the colourful Mani Rimdu festival each spring, around mid-May. Your day concludes with an overnight lodge in a guesthouse, where all meals are included.

Continuing your trek, you'll follow a route that's mostly flat and begins descending towards Thamo, your first resting spot of the day. After a short pause in Thamo, the trail leads you toward the bustling Namche Bazaar, a prominent hub within the Everest region. you'll spend the night at a guesthouse in Namche, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included, rounding off another rewarding day of your Himalayan adventure.

Today marks the ultimate day of your trek as you depart Namche Bazaar within the morning and retrace your steps back to Lukla. The journey takes you thru familiar sites like Jorsalle, Monjo, Phakding, and Choplung. This route completes your Everest Base Camp Trek, culminating during a farewell to the majestic landscapes you've traversed.
Upon reaching Lukla, you'll check your guest house to rest and recuperate from the demanding yet rewarding trekking experience.

Early within the morning, you'll board a flight from Lukla Airport to either Kathmandu or Ramechhap Airport, betting on your travel arrangements. Upon arrival, a drive to your hotel will follow, marking the top of your journey from the heights of the Everest region back to the bustling city.

On your leisure day in Kathmandu, you have got the proper opportunity to explore the colourful capital of Nepal. you'll visit historical sites just like the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath Stupa (also referred to as the Monkey Temple), and also the famous Boudhanath Stupa.
