Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will greet you, provide further program details, and assist with hotel transfers. With no planned activities, sign in to the hotel and luxuriate in your overnight stay. Take now to relax and steel yourself against the journey ahead, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Kathmandu.

You'll have an early morning transfer to the airport for your Lukla flight, an unforgettable experience. Lukla's high-elevation airfield and short runway augment the journey. Upon landing, trek to Phakding amidst lush greenery, with views of Kusum Kangraru Himal. Enjoy an overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding, starting your trek excitedly and with natural beauty.

From Phakding, trek alongside the Dudh Koshi River, ascending through pine and cedar forests to Namche Bazaar. This historic general store was once a hub for Nepalese and Tibetan traders. Today, it remains a bustling marketplace attracting merchants from various regions. Situated on a hillside, Namche offers stunning views of Kongdi RI, mountain peak, and Thamserku. Enjoy an overnight lodge in a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Today is devoted to acclimatization. We'll hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m), offering stunning views of Namche Bazaar. Continuing to Everest View Hotel, enjoy panoramic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and more. The hotel, within the Guinness Book of World Records because the highest, provides unparalleled views of Everest. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery before returning. Overnight at Namche Bazaar guesthouse.

Continuing the trek to Tengboche, we follow a consistent trail with stunning views of Mt. Everest. Descending into the Dudh Koshi Valley, we ascend to Tengboche Monastery (3860m), the spiritual center of the Khumbu. Enjoy breathtaking vistas of Ama Dablam and, on clear days, Everest and surrounding peaks. Overnight at a guesthouse in Tengboche, surrounded by rhododendron and pine forests.

Descending through a scenic forest, we cross the Imja Khola and labor under Pangboche village (3900m). Today's trek is especially captivating as we maintain altitude, offering views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and more. Continuing through pastures, we reach Dingboche, called the "Summer Valley," with protective walls for crops against cold winds. Enjoy an overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

On your second acclimatization day, commence a 6-hour trek to Nagerjun (5100m) above Dingboche. Climbing high and sleeping low is the goal. The steep ascent is also physically challenging, taking five hours. Enjoy stunning views of peaks like Lobuche East, Ama Dablam, and even Makalu on clear days. Descend back to Dingboche for a well-deserved rest. Overnight at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

Trekking through a broad valley floor to Dughla, we pass the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240m), offering medical support. Continuing upward, we gain altitude before descending to the yak pastures of Lobuche. Overnight at a guesthouse in Lobuche, marking another memorable day of our trek within the Himalayas.

After a quick climb through meadows, behold the Khumbu glacier below. Ahead, Kalapatthar offers the simplest views of Everest's south face. Trekking for hours, we reach Gorakshep, then still Everest Base Camp. Though not steep, the trek is tiring because of altitude. Arriving at base camp, marvel at the Khumbu glacier and icefall. Overnight at a guesthouse in Gorakshep.

Begin with a hike to Kalapatthar (5545m) for unparalleled views of Mount Everest and also the Himalayan range. Afterward, return to Gorakshep for breakfast before the thrilling helicopter ride to Lukla. Marvel at the breathtaking mountain scenery and vibrant landscape below. The experience offers enriching views of Himalayan rivers and rolling hills. Overnight at a guesthouse in Lukla, concluding an unforgettable journey.

Today marks the ultimate day of your trek as you depart Namche Bazaar in the morning and retrace your steps back to Lukla. The journey takes you through familiar sites like Jorsalle, Monjo, Phakding, and Choplung. This route completes your Everest Base Camp Trek, culminating in an exceedingly farewell to the majestic landscapes you've traversed.
Upon reaching Lukla, you'll check out your guest house to rest and recuperate from the demanding yet rewarding trekking experience.
